EnVibe

Booth #

With a view to growing its presence in Singapore, Envibe – which sources and supplies premium products that improve service delivery, support operational efficiency, and enhance the passenger experience across the aviation, rail and maritime industries – will be focusing on two key areas.

The first is its approach to the temperature control of chilled food in the cabin. The challenge is holding food at the right temperature from galley to tray, and EnVibe is currently working on in-flight serving solutions to keep that consistent across a full sector.

The company’s second area of focus is its portion range, which runs across all classes. EnVibe supplies spreads, preserves, condiments, sauces and dairy in single portions, both in formats that suit premium tray presentation as well as high-volume economy service.

Nicky Slater, the company’s VP Business Development for Airlines, explained, “A key focus for airlines is to reduce their consumption of single use plastic. The new Mini Uno seal uses 43 per cent less plastic than the original Uno Seal, which is used daily on more than 4,500 planes. It is made from 100% recycled polypropylene and can also be recycled again after use. Moreover, with 176,000 seals on a single pallet, the Mini Uno also offers a reduction in shipping & storage costs.”
