The International Flight Services Association (IFSA) is the global trade association representing airlines, rail operators, caterers and suppliers responsible for onboard services. IFSA advances the inflight services industry through advocacy, education, networking, events and industry collaboration.

IFSA’s mission is to lead, develop and represent the global business interests of the inflight services industry. Its vision is to be the leading advocate for the advancement of the global inflight services industry. The association’s strategic priorities include growing global airline engagement, influencing regulations that best serve the industry and passengers, and strengthening the voice of the inflight services industry.

IFSA serves airlines, rail operators, caterers, suppliers and other organizations involved in delivering onboard products, services and passenger experiences. As a global association, IFSA supports members and industry stakeholders worldwide.

IFSA provides advocacy, industry collaboration, educational programming, networking opportunities, research, events, working groups and recognition programs that help members stay informed, connected and engaged. The association also works to positively influence regulations and policies impacting inflight services, catering, food safety, sustainability and the passenger experience

IFSA Global EXPO is the association’s flagship annual event and the premier gathering for the inflight services industry. The event brings together airlines, caterers, suppliers and industry leaders for networking, education, business development and product discovery.

IFSA is governed by a Board of Directors that provides strategic oversight and guidance for the association’s programs, priorities and initiatives. Board activities and updates are communicated to members through regular communications and the Annual Business Meeting.

IFSA works closely with both the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) and Future Travel Experience (FTE) to advance the broader passenger experience ecosystem. While IFSA focuses on inflight services and onboard hospitality, APEX represents the airline passenger experience industry and FTE focuses on innovation, technology and operational improvements across the passenger journey. Together, these organizations foster collaboration, innovation and industry advancement.

The IFSA Foundation is the philanthropic arm of IFSA, dedicated to supporting future industry leaders through educational scholarships and related initiatives. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded more than $1.8 million in scholarships to over 385 recipients worldwide.
