Enhanced Meal Planning, Ordering Efficiency, Comprehensive Analytics, and Global Caterer Integration Strengthen Long-Term Partnership
London, United Kingdom / Herndon, VA, USA – May 26, 2026. British Airways, the United Kingdom’s flagship carrier and one of the world’s most recognized global airlines, has expanded its long-standing partnership with Paxia, Inc. (“Paxia”), a leading provider of integrated, value-enhancing onboard services software solutions for the commercial airline industry. Together, the companies have successfully implemented expanded capabilities of Paxia Cloud, the world’s leading cloud-based, AI-enabled catering management platform designed to manage and streamline every aspect of airline catering operations.
Building on more than 20 years of successful collaboration, including British Airways’ enterprise-wide use of Paxia Galleys for global galley load planning, the airline is now live with several additional Paxia Cloud modules: Specifications, Schedules, Orders, and Invoices. This milestone marks a significant operational advancement in British Airways’ meal planning, ordering, and invoicing capabilities, as well as in collaboration with global catering partners.
Furthermore, British Airways partnered with Paxia to implement Paxia Insights, an advanced analytics module that harnesses the wealth of data across all Paxia modules to deliver interactive visualizations, predictive insights, and sophisticated forecasting and AI capabilities.
British Airways selected Paxia Cloud as a modern, airline-proven platform purpose-built for today’s inflight service requirements and to replace its legacy catering management solution. The platform’s intuitive interface and automation capabilities replace numerous manual processes, enhance reliability and transparency, and deliver real-time, accurate information to British Airways and its worldwide network of catering partners—effectively eliminating key limitations of the airline’s previous system.
“After many months of tireless effort, we’ve rolled out Paxia worldwide. The teamwork and innovation have completely transformed our catering operations,” said Anna Au, Catering Systems & Standards Manager at British Airways.
Rodney Duty, Paxia’s COO and President, added: “We are grateful for the passion, collaboration, and commitment shown by both teams throughout this successful implementation. British Airways has been an exceptional partner in driving innovation in catering systems, and we look forward to continuing to work together for many more years.”
