With an engineering degree specialized in Food Sciences and Technologies for Food Industry, Fabien began his career 20 years ago in the fragrances and cosmetics industry (Coty Lancaster group) where he held various positions related to quality, management of suppliers & subcontractors and factory support. In 2009 he joined the Chiquita headquarters in Switzerland where he assumed overall quality & food safety responsibility for the EMEA region until 2015. He joined after the specialized nutrition (baby food) division of the Danone group, as Food Safety & Quality director of one of the biggest production sites of Danone’s network, before taking the overall worldwide responsibility for the implementation of food safety processes (26 manufacturing sites). With this industrial experience, Fabien joined Newrest in October 2019 as QHSSE Director (Quality & Food Safety, Health & Safety, Security, Environment) of the group. He is based in Toulouse, France, and is a member of Newrest group executive board.

I have been in the aviation industry with thirty years of experience in aviation catering and procurement while working for flydubai, Etihad Airways, British Airways and LSG SkyChefs (USA). I have been active with the IFSA planning committee for the past 15 years including twice co-chairing the committee. My passion for inflight catering began as a kid taking my first flight from Cleveland, Ohio to Los Angeles on United Airlines 727. I was amazed by the whole experience including the meal service. The beef tenderloin served in economy was cooked to perfection. While attending Ohio University, I worked for Ohio University Food Services as student manager at the largest dining hall. That experience and passion for food and service lead to my employment at LSG SkyChefs Boston after graduation. I worked in many positions at LSG in Boston and New York JFK including managing British Airways catering change from Alpha to LSG. That experience led me to be recruited by British Airways Catering to manage their North America catering operation. I joined Etihad Airways in March 2016 that brought me to Abu Dhabi to manage their network Catering Operations. I recently joined flydubai, GCC fastest growing airline that started out as a low-cost carrier that now transitioning to full-service carrier as Senior Manager Catering Operations. My hobbies include traveling, cooking, spending time with my family and enjoying life.

Over the past two decades with LSG Sky Chefs, she has built a solid track record of success, driving key initiatives across multiple business segments, including B2B food commerce, retail onboard services, and airline catering.
As a valued member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Tone is instrumental in shaping strategic sales efforts and forging long-lasting partnerships. Her expertise spans a broad spectrum of B2B functions, including account management, complex contract negotiations, and customer relationship management, where she excels in fostering strong, mutually beneficial relationships.
Based at LSG Sky Chefs’ headquarters in Dallas, Texas, Tone works closely with a diverse team, fostering strong relationships with airline clients and suppliers alike. Her ability to navigate complex global markets while maintaining a focus on excellence and innovation makes her a key leader in the inflight services industry.

Vanessa Lindstrom

Vanessa Lindstrom is a food Safety professional with over 30 years global experience working in India, Australia and the US within the pharmaceutical, beverage and food industry. She has a Master of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Mumbai and in addition has certification in Laboratory Management, FSSC 22000 Lead Auditor, HACCP, Seafood HACCP and PCQI.
