Andrew Yiu
Vice President, Product
Air Canada
Andrew Yiu was appointed Vice President, Product in October 2017 with overall responsibility for the design of all Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge and Air Canada Express products, services and amenities experienced by customers at airports and onboard all flights worldwide, to ensure Air Canada is consistently reflected as a leading international carrier and global champion. Andrew also has oversight for the presentation of the airline’s overall brand worldwide, which includes marketing communications and commercial sponsorships.
Andrew was previously Managing Director, Product Design, where he oversaw the introduction of Air Canada’s international flagship interiors onboard the wide-body fleet, all onboard product specifications and services, partnerships with celebrated Canadian Chef David Hawksworth & Sommelier Veronique Rivest, in-flight entertainment systems, wi-fi connectivity and installation across the narrow-body and wide-body fleet, and the revitalization and launch of several Maple Leaf Lounges at key hub airports. He was a key stakeholder in the airline’s 2017 livery launch and the new uniform project for all front-line employees being rolled out in 2017 and 2018.
Between 2011-2016, Andrew held several senior leadership roles in product design including developing Air Canada’s overall service philosophy across all customer touch points, the re-design of premium customer products and services, and the development and roll-out of Premium Economy Class.
He also led several significant and complex inter-branch projects including optimizing fleet configuration, re-designing and improving the content in the in-flight entertainment programs to enable Air Canada to compete effectively and to remain relevant and profitable in a rapidly changing international commercial landscape.
Andrew began his career at Air Canada in 2005 as a manager in network and revenue management, where he was responsible for the strategic planning and design of Air Canada’s flight network, maximizing fleet deployment, identifying new commercial opportunities and developing competitive responses to meet demand, profitability and ROI.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto. He is also a qualified Six Sigma Master Black Belt, holding expert certification for the strategic deployment of Six Sigma for business improvement projects.

Paul Mills

Paul is Head of Inflight Services at Virgin Atlantic, a position he assumed in Feb 2020.
His key responsibilities include leading his team to develop and deliver the Inflight Food & Beverage, Ancillaries, and Entertainment experience for c.6m customers per year.
He previously served as Head of Strategy leading strategy design and the strategic planning process that delivers the three-year strategy and financial plan for the airline and tour operator businesses.
Paul started his career at Virgin Atlantic as Financial Planning & Analysis Manager in 2014, having previously worked as a management consultant for Deloitte and completed his training as a management accountant while working at Bupa Healthcare.
