Emirates Launches Updated Wildlife-Inspired Amenity Kits
Share

Emirates has launched a new collection of amenity kits designed to raise awareness of endangered wildlife while enhancing the onboard experience. Created in partnership with United for Wildlife, the kits are a refreshed version of those introduced in 2023 and feature hand-drawn designs and storytelling that highlights some of the most endangered animals on the planet. The rollout of the new amenity kits began in December 2025 on long-haul overnight flights for passengers in premium economy and economy class.
Elevating Comfort and Purpose Across the Cabin
For the first time since the cabin’s introduction in 2021, Emirates’ premium economy class features its own dedicated amenity kit, offering a more elevated experience while sharing a common sustainability and conservation message with economy class. Designed with a wrist strap and ample interior space, the premium economy-class amenity kits focus on comfort and travel wellness.
Inside, premium economy passengers will find socks, eyeshades, earplugs, and a Colgate dental kit, along with plant-powered Aveda skincare products. These include a lip balm, hand relief moisturizing cream, and hydrating face lotion. Each amenity kit features hand-drawn artwork highlighting an endangered species, along with a story card that introduces the animal and its conservation challenges. Species showcased include pangolins, glass frogs, chimpanzees, Bengal tigers, Asian black bears, totoabas, small-clawed otters, manta rays, green sea turtles, geckos, peregrine falcons, red sand boas, fennec foxes, African grey parrots, painted bats, straw-headed bulbul, and Cape vultures.

Similarly, economy-class passengers receive colorful, reusable amenity kits that add comfort to the experience while bringing the same wildlife storytelling to a wider audience. The kits include socks, eyeshades, earplugs, and a Colgate dental kit, with each pouch highlighting a different endangered species through illustrated designs and story cards. Animals featured in this collection include Arabian gazelles, Arabian oryx, blue sharks, western gorillas, gibbons, Bornean orangutans, Bengal tigers, Asian black bears, small-clawed otters, manta rays, green sea turtles, peregrine falcons, fennec foxes, African grey parrots, and Cape vultures.
Across both cabins, sustainability plays a central role in the design. The socks and eyeshades use 100 per cent recycled post-consumer polyester, while the story cards and packaging come from paper sourced from responsibly managed forests. The outer pouches also use bio-based materials, including cactus, to reduce reliance on traditional plastics. Designed to be reused, the amenity kits act as practical keepsakes that help passengers stay connected to wildlife conservation even after the flight, showcasing how small onboard details can support environmental awareness.
Storytelling Through Design
Rather than viewing amenity kits as single-use items, Emirates has turned the new collection into a storytelling platform. Each kit reflects one of four natural settings: the sea, sky, forest, or desert; and features hand-drawn artwork that introduces passengers to endangered animals and the environments they depend on.

And the experience goes beyond the amenity kits themselves. Through Emirates’ ice in-flight entertainment (IFE) system, passengers can watch the Guardians documentary series, which follows wildlife rangers and conservation leaders working to protect endangered species and fight illegal wildlife trade. The series also highlights the work of United for Wildlife, an initiative founded by Prince William and The Royal Foundation.
