My name is Yumna Odeh, I’m a 20-year-old medical student at the University of Genoa, about to begin my third year and my first clinical rotations.
I’ve always been fascinated by the human complexity and by the idea of caring for others, which is why I dream to become the type of doctor that truly sees the person behind every patient: I want to be someone who heals not only with knowledge, but also with empathy and understanding.
