Jasmine Purnell is a Sophomore at Howard University, majoring in Human Performance and minoring in Biology. Jasmine’s passion for healthcare influenced her decision to become a medical doctor. Jasmine’s commitment to medicine motivated her to become licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant to gain clinical skills working directly with patients. Jasmine is not only committed to healthcare, but also her community, and she was recognized as a recipient of the 2023 White House Presidential Service Award for her service. In her spare time, Jasmine enjoys playing with her dog, Russie, and baking vegetarian goods for her friends and family.
