Cindy Mojica was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA to a proud immigrant family that has always valued education and hard work – she is the first in her family to receive a college degree in the US and is now pursuing her Masters in Gastronomy at Boston University.
She has over 20 years of food service experience that have ranged from being a server at a tea house, to the sous chef of a bib gourmand restaurant in San Francisco, to teaching at the Le Cordon Bleu – Chicago, to now being a Corporate Innovation Development Chef for Direct Food Service.
She lives in Chicago with her wife and four cats. Her hobbies included taxidermy, travelling, reading comic books, and bowling.
