My name is Arvind Srinivasan, and I am an undergraduate student at Simon Fraser University, majoring in Criminology. My long-term goal is to attend law school and build a career that allows me to combine my passion for advocacy, equity, and public service. Beyond academics, I am actively involved in leadership and volunteer work with UNICEF SFU, where I have contributed to initiatives focused on child protection and inclusion. I am also dedicated to sports and fitness, having played volleyball competitively and developed a strong interest in weightlifting as part of maintaining balance and discipline in my life. Growing up in a diverse community has shaped my interest in justice and access to opportunity, and I am committed to using my education to uplift vulnerable communities. Receiving the Alphonse Joseph Scholarship enables me to focus more fully on these goals, while reminding me that there are people who believe in my potential and the impact I hope to make through law, advocacy, and service.
