Australian Travelers Can Enjoy A Free Meal At Hamad Airport Thanks To Virgin Australia & Qatar Airways – Simple Flying

[Simple Flying]: Qatar Airways and Virgin Australia have launched a new initiative called ‘Dine on Us,’ aimed at rewarding their frequent flyer members with complimentary dining. Starting June 12, Qatar Airways Privilege Club and Virgin Australia’s Velocity Frequent Flyer members flying to and from Australia through Doha will receive a $20 dining voucher, which can be used at over 50 restaurants and cafés at Doha’s Hamad International Airport (DOH).
The latest offerings come as Virgin Australia prepares to resume its long-haul international services and Qatar Airways continues to strengthen its presence in Australia. The initiative complements existing travel perks offered through the airlines’ respective loyalty programs.
Everything About ‘Dine on Us’ Offer
The ‘Dine on Us’ offer will be available for a full year, running until June 11, 2026, and is open to all membership tiers, including Privilege Club Family and Student Club members. It is valid for all Qatar Airways-operated flights to and from Australia, whether operated by Qatar Airways or by Virgin Australia under their codeshare agreement. To avail of the offer, travelers will simply need to add their loyalty number during flight booking or check-in.
The vouchers can be redeemed at a wide range of renowned outlets, including Ralph’s Coffee, Oreo Café, Gordon Ramsay Burger, Street Pizza, and Harrods Tea Room. However, a few high-profile outlets such as Starbucks, Joe & the Juice, La Vita Café, and the Louis Vuitton Lounge inside The Orchid premium lounge area, are not participating in the offer. Nick Rohrlach, CEO of Virgin Australia’s Velocity Frequent Flyer program, said he is proud to introduce a benefit that makes international travel even more enjoyable for members as the Australian airline enters a new chapter. He added:
