Reminder, in order for IFSA members to attend the Thought Leadership sessions on Monday 9 September, move-in for exhibitors will begin Sunday 8 September at 8:00am. IFSA encourages exhibitors to adjust their schedules accordingly.

IFSA's Government Affairs and Education Committee (GAEC) monitors global regulatory and legislative issues impacting the industry. Check out the latest updates below:
·IFSA Meeting with FDA on FSMA: Last month,IFSA member representatives met with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) on behalf of the industry. They presented an IFSA Food Safety Plan that was created by GAEC in order for the industry to effectively meet new FSMA requirements and proposed that it be recognized as a model for the airline catering industry. FDA plans to continue reviewing the Food Safety Plan model and relay feedback to IFSA.
